At first it's hard to see, but then you see it. The little ghost nearly lost in the fog. The focus on the grave up front is what you think the focus is at first, or what it should be. The whole atmosphere is perfect, but sad. The old graves and the trees alone give the picture a haunted appearance. I can't find anything to suggest other than taking the text off the image, as it distracts from it. If it had been a stormy, rainy day that would be the perfect day to go out and photograph old cemeteries!
In Memoriam... ...William Mellor of Manchester, Architect, was born Oktober 23 1846 died Oktober 19 1880. He could not wait till his birthday? Poor boy. 33 years and a bit. But Emma was less lucky: Emma Frances Mellor: born November 1894, died March 1895, so four months.
