xcxc the cell doors of bodmin victorian jail the gangways have long since dropped and nature is reclaiming back the land ,i think it was abandoned in the early 1900,s it was built in 1779 and many executions have taken place here mostly by hanging (the original hangmans box is on display with all the contents (tools) for the job.During the First World War the Jail held state papers and the Doomsday book.
