Samhain is a pagan holiday that is celebrated on October 31. Samhain is its real name on the pagan calender most poeple know it as halloween. It marks the end of Summer and the beginning of Winter. It is the Witche’s New Year and the final harvest. The veil is thin between the two worlds and contact can be made with our ancestors. Remember and think of people you know who have crossed over to the spirit world.
Celebrate this time of the Wheel by having bonfires, inviting friends and family to a special ceremony. Decorate your alter with leaves, flowers, pumpkins, gourds, and fruits and nuts.
